Dixon Denham, Captain Hugh Clapperton and Doctor Walter Oudney
in 1822, 1823 and 1824, following up on the travels of Ritchie
& Lyon to Murzuk in 1818. They travelled from Tripoli to
Murzuk, to Lake Chad, to Kano and Sokoto.
